2009-2010 Report

2009-2010

With overwhelming pleasure and pride, I, the principal of the college, cordially invite you to the website of our college. After the unprecedented thrilling experience with the Peer Teem of NAAC and accreditation of the college with ‘B’ Grade (CGPA 2: 20) in the month of June, 2009, our institution has embarked upon newer flights of progress in the academic, inter-disciplinary and co-curricular activities. Besides achieving newer milestones, the IQAC of the college has been meticulously concentrating upon the sustenance and enhancement of ‘Quality’ in education. Since quality assurance is a continuous process and a relentless pursuit to achieve academic excellence, our college has also joined this process with its untiring efforts of creating over-all academic environment, a well-stocked library, adequate computer facilities and a well-equipped lab.

Keeping clearly in sight the ‘Mission’ and ‘Vision’ of the institution, the college has been actively endeavoring to bring about all-round development of students, the chief stakeholders and thereby to achieve the required social transformation for sustainable economic development of the country.

I must say with great pleasure that after accreditation, following the suggestions and recommendations of the Peer Team, the college with enthusiastic and earnest efforts of my colleagues- subordinates, has assumed a new pulsating bloom. Still, I fell like Browning: “Petty done, undone vast”. This is only a beginning, the path of progress is infinite. Still harder grounds lie before us to tread upon since education is an eternal journey which has a beginning, but no end.

Woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep.

---Robert Frost
